RECharged's Collaborations
|
Here's a collaboration with all the RECords from tonight's SITC Word Association Game which produced a tiny story. Add your image/text/audio/video etc and let's really use and abuse the word whilst and flabbergasted. We don't do it often anyway. |

Hello there! Thanks for checking out this collaboration! Brief background: The summer program that I'm in will be having entertainment night in about two weeks so I wanted hitRECord to be a part of what I will entertain them with. Basically, this collab is for you to say anything about your doctor/s. Maybe you have a funny story or an anecdote about your own doctor or maybe your neighbor that's a doctor. Please share that here in any form be it a drawing, audio recording of you, short video. Anything and everything is welcome! Also, I wanted to know what you like and not like about your doctor. Here, things can be as simple as you liking the fact that they speak slow and you feel like they're actually explaining it to you or maybe you hate that they don't smile. Or they can be deep to you feeling like they don't treat you like a patient but rather more like the disease and that you hate that feeling. Again, anything and everything is welcome! Thanks ahead for taking time to check this out! |

Tilt-shift is something I discovered because of hitRECord and the fantastic contributions from various hitRECorders have got me hooked. What exactly is tilt-shift? I think ntheon described it best: so, it will be a whole miniature world that looks like an uncanny replica of the real world except that it actually *is* the real world just pretending to be a miniature of itself the mind boggles but in a good way. :) I'm excited to see all the future contributions here! :o) |

Hello hitRECorders! I hope everyone's doing well wherever you are and that for those who were at SXSW, I hope that you are finally well rested to tackle the week. I started this collaboration because of school, yes. School and you. The people that I have met here, through recommendations, remarks, or just by looking at your work are people that I highly doubt I would have ever run into during the course of my life. Sure, maybe a few just because the world is small but never like this, and never in a medium where everyone's talents are respected, appreciated and encouraged. I'm in a Human Rights Class (who will get to see hitRECord's award winning video next week, supposed to be this week but the we do not touch that topic until next so they must all suffer and wait) and what I love the most about it, besides the new things that I learn, is that 1/5th of our grade is based on an art project. It can be anything from collecting records from various cultures/time periods in history, creating a sculpture of a concentration camp to painting a scene depicting the Native American struggle. While all these sound great, I am not as great in painting/sculpting/drawing, etc. This is when I thought about film and how pictures alone say a lot but that together, they can also convey another message. Think about those various collages that are composed of individual pictures but when combined, they form their own distinctive pattern. So, thinking of taking a picture of people's eyes and then manipulating and forming those pictures to all eventually say the word FREEDOM and then a little line saying "It's all about perspective" on the bottom. I have started this by taking pictures of my friends' eyes but I thought it would be more amazing if I could get everyone to contribute to this. It doesn't matter if you take a photo of both your eyes or just one. Make up or no make up? Your call. This is about your perspective and I simply just want to capture it. Thank you very much! |
