This poem reminds of the following quote from Maya Angelou: “Everything in the universe has rhythm. Everything dances.” I incorporated lots of public domain footage along with works from our community. Here are the links to the public domain footage. All are from the Premlinger Collection at www.archive.org

Thecartographer
This is part of a larger series I titled The Passenger & The Architect. All based around a dreamscape. It's a complex look at what the mind can conceive and the functionality of fiction in a created world.

Wordplay a friend (http://hitrecord.org/users/silverladder) thought up:

"... My mind is constantly running; constantly playing with words, even when I'm not consciously doing it. No joke. So the phrase 'bowl of oatmeal' was in my head this morning... My mind started messing with the letters in the words and suddenly I thought, 'Owl Of Boatmeal!'"

I like to call the squid Quaken.
