Girl who rides butterflies standing on her island with the dreamy blue eyes
Looking out at distant shore
(safe on her island)
Daisys swaying in the wind she climbs on the back of a butterfly
Up up up she goes
The girl who rides butterflies
with the dreamy blue eyes
round and round up and down
Across the water wind blows through wisps of her hair
little ears hear distant voices
lady bugs with lace dance in front of her face
Up up up she goes
The girl who rides butterflies
with the dreamy blue eyes
round and round up and down
Little red shoes walk across deep green moss
so soft so soft snails go by
weeping willows welcome her
birds tie ribbons in her hair
mist from the fountian leave beads of water upon her face
up up up she goes
the girl who rides butterflies
with the dreamy blue eyes
round and round up and down
Dance dance your butterfly dance
swaying in the wind
back back to her island
only she knows her space in her Quiet place
back back to her books
feathers and lace she slips back to her little pace in her Quite place
up up up she goes
the girl who rides butterflies
with the dreamy blue eyes
round and round up and down..........
