CALLING ALL ILLUSTRATORS!

We're going to make an Animated Musical Short Film based on ppeppina's song "Mademoiselle Noir," which is a darker re-telling of the classic fairytale of Rapunzel. This new version actually falls quite in line with the art we are creating together for the "RE: Outsiders"collaboration.

This Short Film's Resident Directors are going to be the dynamic duo MarieIv & sojushots!

ILLUSTRATORS: Lots of illustrations are needed for this collaboration, and the visual style should be based on "let your hair down" by sojushots: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/689401 

Also, the color palette for illustrations should be dark and bleak - with lots of blacks, grays, and cool blues.

2 Years ago on this day I joined hitRecord, and for everything I've learned I am thankful to each and everyone on the site. Very very much possible I wouldn't be able to create things I create today without this wonderful place.

* I've started workig on this animation before I knew the text for this illustration, so I guess, this is more an "adaptation" of image, how I visualize it.

A little bit of dark backstory on how we got to where we are now. ;)

“The disease” Dr. Redmond adds

“seems similar parisitoidal fungi, known

to compel carpenter ants to act to in the

ILLUSTRATORS: You can create some new ghoulish characters and contribute them to the Grimm Gallery collaboration. You could also put these characters into picture frames as if they were on display in a gallery within a decrepit old mansion with peeling wallpaper and eerie vibes.

WRITERS: You could select some of your favorite Grimm Characters from the collab & start writing some back stories or poems about them.
