The pair of pants seamed to keep it together The shirt and tie were dyeing to match The right and left shoes were perfect sole mates And the boxers were brief, always lusting
But the sock was sad though he had escaped The tumultuous tyranny of the laundry load For his mate did not share the same fate And would be returning to the foot, smelly-toed |
