This is my first attempt at starting a collaboration here, so I am looking forward to the process. I am looking for mostly digital artist and animators to collaborate on a musical project that I recorded in 1997 on a 4 track. The music is all instrumental and very dark and was recorded by myself all in one night at a local coffee shop that a friend owned at the time. A musician that had performed there left an old electric organ after a show, so I went in late at night with some of my own instruments when there were not many customers around and recorded about 80 minutes worth of material with the organ. This is the first track, if all goes well I'll be uploading the entire recording eventually for more collaborations. What I'm looking to accomplish: I'd like to get some artists to contribute some unique animation to the music, maybe like an interpretation of what the music inspires in the mind of the artist. I'd like to end up with a nice "silent film" style animation that is gritty and creepy like the music. I added the audio file as a contribution, check it out...can't wait to see what happens! Mike |
