I just had to read it aloud!

that's my old clock dancing on the spot tick tock tock
I envy it's skill every moment milked tick tock tock
time will pass me by my minute hand flies but that old clock of mine frozen to the time it knows what is what tick tock tock
living in the moment tick tock tock that old clock of mine tick tock tock
[a slight departure from SuddenArdor's little muse. I think this could do with a REwrite too. I'm out of practice with poetry] |

Reverie wrote this great script for my angry man character.
I shot this but almost didn't put it up. My performance has a different quality from the original and I'm not sure it works as well. I wouldn't mind having another go, next time going for a bit more of the still, contained intensity of angry man.

The record lived a lonely life, a name he couldn't shake. Overlooked at every turn, they thought him a mistake. |

I'd love to see @ruffedges' nursery rhyme turned into an animation but I don't have the skills to do it. I did however manage to put together this graphic script /storyboard thing. I hope it might inspire someone else to record a voice, do some illustrations or animate the story... Whatever comes of it, I sure had fun putting this together!

My imagination was captured by @Ruffedges' haunting yet optimistic discourse. Dense evocative language, a personal struggle and a hopeful conclusion. So I decided to try bringing it off the page.
I will upload the unedited clips soon in case anyone feels keen to try a re-edit or remix.
Also, it is worth noting that this piece of writing came from the "Challenge Me" collaboration and that the last line was written by @typochondriac

Nice one, tall one, straight one. And her heart always belonged to the impossible ones. Bold one, good one, smart one. And her heart always belonged to the impossible ones. True one, handsome one, single one. And her heart always belonged to the impossible ones. Friend-of-a-friend one, good-in-bed one, Helpful one, employed one, old-friend one, Charming one, familiar one, Dancing one, doting one. And her heart always belonged to the impossible ones. |
