I recorded this a while ago, after reading RegularJoe's REmix on my iPhone, and haven't had a chance to upload the audio file until now.

(In other words, I'm not trying to compete with MattReilly!)

This is the number nine with a cool, hand-drawn, paisley pattern that I made.

I loved The Magician's Last Disappearing Act by @joellen (http://www.hitrecord.org/records/1332897), a contribution to the MAGIC Collab. Couldn't resist recording the V.O. from the script. I don't know if this is useable to anyone, but I hope so!

In response to CaptClare's request for a human/androidish sounding voice-over, I recorded this bit. I'm still not convinced that I like the way it turned out vocally, plus the quality isn't all too great. I'll probably record another version and change some things about my voice.

Any critique is more than welcome! Please comment below.

Thanks!

I look back through the times in my life when I've had varying incomes. Looking at the most financially fruitful time I can recall, I am shaken by how reckless I lived. So m...

When I read this I immediately thought of a pre-recorded message playing for these astronauts who are at "the end". I thought CaptClare's image could make a neat-O animation. Maybe something short and looped.

Anyway, this is my best attempt at sounding messagey.

Same passage, different translation, way easier to read. This was taken from the World English Bible (public domain).

This is me talking about what I believe the bible is, how it has effected my life and what I like about it. The video is poor quality, but because of my non-existant upload speed I had to .zip the HQ version. If anyone wants to use clips of this, I suggest using that. (Will be added as a resource soon!)

I'd like to point out a couple of things that I didn't say in the video, but should have:

  1. I do believe that the bible is more than just a book; it's God's word and there's certainly more to it than the stories it contains.

  2. I want to be clear on my ramblings about pride and insecurity, etc, etc...I wasn't trying to imply that the bible erases those things from life. I'll be the first to admit I'm insecure and proud. But it does teach how to live under a covenant of grace, how to not be hooked in those classic traps. ...And here I am, back on my soapbox again!

Anyway, I thought this stuff might be useful as a resource for the collab. ;)

This is a passage from the book of Romans (7:7-24) that I find really gorgeous in its poetry. There are some more modern scholars who contrast the classic view of these verses by saying that Pau...
