Matilda Pavlovna's RECommendations
Our deadline for the Tiny Book of Tiny Stories Vol. 2 is coming up, so now it's time to focus in on some ILLUSTRATIONS THAT NEED STORIES!
Resident Director wirrow has some direction for all you WRITERS out there:
There have been some insanely cool illustrations contributed so far. You can check out the "illustrations that need tiny stories" album. Go through the album, find an illustration you like, and WRITE A STORY!
After all, how can you leave them there without a story? That would be just... sad.
Thanks!

An idea for the hitRECorderly Vinyl Collab artwork.
I liked the idea of incorporating imagery of vinyl and the listener connected by the headphones cable. Originally I was going to make the cord inbetween into the shape of a waveform but realised that I could use it for joined up writing instead. The vinyl is also a continuation of the single line but I couldn't get the listener drawn in the same way though. Possibly an idea for someone else to play with.
Here is a brief video tutorial on how to CREATE AND CURATE ALBUMS.

The tutorial includes:
* How albums are used for organization and collaboration curation on hitRECord
* How to make an album
* How to add RECords to an album

With the hitRECord umbrella, even a rainy day will be a happy day!
Also for sunny days the umbrella is very usefull. Protect yourself from the sun by using the umbrella!
this is second version of " day dreaming" HR is the pleace where we make things togther. as I said in the day dreaming I am not good at remixing.. I hope someone will put other people's records or ur records in back ground! the theme of this drawing is " HITRECORD is where we make things together"
My hands xrayed with the assistance of my co-worker, Dr. Amanda Sayers. I have been wanting to take this xray for some time. Next week our office is becoming high tech with a new digital xray so I thought I would use one of the last 8x10 films and radiate myself for art. I talked some at work about HitRecord and my boss basically told me to go ahead but don't let OSHA find out.
Your contributions to The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories collaboration have been splendid! Keep 'em coming!
In the meantime, Resident Director wirrow has some words RE: Tiny Stories Themes.
The best ones are the simplest ones, whilst still being open to interpretation and relatable in a vast number of ways. If you can say something potentially profound through a really simple story, then you've probably clinched it.
For example, check out this Tiny Story: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/446242
People can relate to this simple story and simple illustration on a lot of different levels.
Thanks!
