I've been working on this for another project with tumblr, but I realized it could make a good sky for falling if someone wanted to animate (or combine it with an existing animation of) someone falling through it.

If anyone's interested I can upload a zipped PSD with the layers to make the stars and snow move.

We made up 500 of these little 12p booklets here in Austin to put out on all the seats for our Spring Spectacular screening... a little something to peruse while people shuffle in plus a hint of what's to come.

NB: Jennyfer made this beautiful drawing of Sarah for the author page, but unfortunately, despite how quickly she made it, we got it JUST after our printing deadline passed and we had already gone to press :(

But it will certainly be included in all future editions, of which I'm sure there will be many.

So, I've made a bunch of screen casts that should help explain most of the key features of hitRECord V4.

I recorded my RAW voice-over with the intention that it be ERASED and re-recorded by someone who is much better at public speaking than I am :)

These were recorded unscripted over and over again, so they could definitely use lots of editing, cleaning up, music, remixing, re-voicing, etc.

Anyway, those are my main caveats/disclaimers. But hopefully these will be helpful in explaining some of the unfamiliar parts of the site for newcomers as well as old-timers switching from V3.

Again, please feel free to clean these up as much as possible; and then we can start adding them as "Help RECords" to the top of each page.

Mike and I are working with Cat to turn my Nebulullaby Solar System into a deep cosmic sea of beautiful for cutting between the planet vignettes.

Joe talks often about how seeing your work remixed is a much higher honor than applause. Watching Mike turn my art into this full three-dimensional world is when I really understood what he meant for the first time.

I'm not sure exactly how this can be used in the final piece, but from the moment I heard Sean's first demo, this image popped into my mind: a model of the solar system hanging as a mobile over a stark white crib... both ambiguously located in a dark, space-like void.

I've got some temp credits on this version... almost picturing it as a sort of poster or book cover or album cover. But perhaps the elements of it could also be used in a sort of animated title treatment at the beginning of the music video?

What do you guys think?
