Hello, I was beginning to wonder if you had gone to the wrong house.

I'm afraid this time of year is always a bit busier for me. It can be hard to find a moment.

Well that's all I've got are moments anymore. The T.V. went out so I just sit here watching the static. Could I trouble you to try the antenna? (cough) It's just so hard to get up these days.

I did, and thank you! They were so beautiful! They were just like the ones I used to pick as a little girl with my sister. We used to walk down to the creek where they grew and we would come back with our arms full of them. We'd put them in our hair and make necklaces...and the smell; you could always tell when they were in bloom because you could smell them clear across the block. That's how we knew when it was really spring and we'd get so excited we could barely wait until school let out to go and pluck them up!

I think the heater's busted. It's been so cold lately. I don't suppose it's because someone forgot to pay the bill!(cough)
Everyone gets so busy sometimes; you know I haven't seen anyone since the Holidays? You're the first visitor I've had. Isn't that a shame? Just a shame.

Oh, I'll be fine. I've just been a little tired lately is all. And on top of that the new neighbors have been having choir practice at all hours of the evening. It's really the most beautiful music but do they have to sing so loudly? Sometimes I fall asleep just listening to them, but when I wake up they're still singing! You'd think they'd be exhausted! It really is very beautiful, though.

I tell you what, why don't you lie down. Get some rest and I'll catch up with you in a few days time.
