Convoluted Musings is a semi periodical column I post on my tumblr. If there's a similar collaboration, feel free to delete/ integrate/ interfere with this interface. There are 1169 entries in the collaboration section, that I frankly have no the time to check. Right at this instant. You can type it, you can make it rhyme, hum it or paint it but you have to scramble true and false facts from any given random day. You don't have to keep it deep but neither superficial. You basically remix an instant, or an hour, a casual meeting or an interview. And maybe you give it a flare and make it eerie enough to ensnare the reader/ watcher/ listener/ stalker. Let's take the liberty to be philosophical/ judgmental / kind with the things that enchant us / appall us or simply make our eyes slide open/ squint. [Hi, I'm Louise and today I wrote the following musing. See you at the bottom]: "Don’t you find it abhorrent when words are blasphemed? We use them till we disqualify them. Us - the “oh-look-something-sparkly-mongers” interfering with the lingual interface - have been reduced to a Neaderthalian dialect. We think being a misanthrope is hip. It’s cool. Sulking and brooding have nothing to do the with concept. Misanthropy is not a fashion trend and reading the Wikipedia page on it, doesn’t count. Go for Kierkegaard or Schopenhauer and there’s a slim chance, you’ll finally get the hang of it. It’s the meaning within the meaning that brings catharsis to the reader. Reducing words to “cool” and “oh, how inspiring”, annuls their raison d’etre. You need to bring their meaning back and expand the vocabulary without thinking that “tweeting” is a linguistic breakthrough. So, don’t just read, but indulge, skip a translation and learn a foreign language. The language is breathing and it is a step ahead of us in the evolution department. Climb up the “V” curve and you’ll see that She is truly magnificent. You don’t have to be a genius to discern the hidden symbols and listen to the whispers that solemnly promise you a secret.
