LilacAmy11's Featured RECords
thank you for the community, for the art, for everything. love you all. for real.
I wanted to create something that gave our little guy hope:) This is the story of his journey from surviving a mass killing, to loneliness and despair, to bravery and hope to find a community of his own.
I used the same edit I did for the first one, but I took out the voice over/script cuz I wasn't really happy with it. I'm much happier with this version using just PASIV's awesome music. It was perfect for the story.
Someone wanna write/narrate something?

I loved Metaphorest's story about Phil Phillips and the way it played with language. When MattConley added it to his weekly RE-RECs and mentioned a video being done for it, it completely made sense to me:)
Hope you enjoy!
(Matt got to star as Phil Phillips, mostly because when I heard "renown for his womanizing ways..." I had no other image than Matt in the doorway from his Fall Formal Action Trailer:)

A visual interpretation of RegularJOE's take on Metaphorest's poem.
I'm not gonna lie, this RECord mostly came about because I'm super excited to see the Dream Doc when I get my Inception DVD/Blu-Ray in 3 weeks (of course I pre-ordered it so it arrives on the 7th. And of course the first thing I watch will be the Dream Doc). So I was playing around in the Dream Doc collab and this happened:)
(And BTW... how awesome is Metaphorest? "Gravity grants dreamers grace" -- what a gorgeous line.)

Using Tori's fun story and RichieMillenium's awesome reading.
This is the second version of this (and this time I triple checked for public domain). It had to be REmixed out of necessity, but I like this one better, actually.... plus I got to use a hitRECord-made spork:)

I know this collab is, like, a year old. But I wasn't around then and I wanted to play too:)
I had a lot of fun doing this. Is it perfect? nope. But that's ok.. I felt the flow of the rhythm and let myself go and I enjoyed it.
(and I know it's not on a desk. Sorry)
