EP 1: SECRETS
We need something full of intrigue to start the season off and lure the viewers back in, and what's more intriguing than a secret?
EP 2: NOTHING
Toss up between this and The Number Two, but as a subject matter, Nothing fascinates me more because I want to see us create something out of nothing.
EP 3: SCHOOL
Language is a great theme, but it fits nicely into this one. When I hear the word School, it conjures up so many memories and imagery... Plus, I remember seeing a video on here of a Q&A after a Sundance screening where a teacher was in the audience and asked Joe to come out and visit her students (or something similar to that). How wonderful would it be to see Joe actually go out there and speak to those kids.
EP 4: THE DARK
My favorite theme, and Ghosts also fits perfectly into it... So much to play with.
I would like to put forward the idea of making a funny short in the style of a sitcom starring Hernandez (the mexican vampire) and his roommate Dave. See below.
EP 5: FAT
Some people hate this theme, but I can't help picture an episode full of immense humor, tragedy and beauty.
EP 6: FIRE
It's a tool, a weapon, it helped shape this planet, and it's even a God to some. I hope we make this episode and I hope it feels dangerous.
EP 7: DREAMS
Perhaps the most universal theme on offer, and there's already so much great material on the site. How can we not?
EP 8: THE FUTURE
Perfect way to the end the season, by looking to the future.
I'll try to find some specific records soon.
