The scene: An expensive clothing store, midnight. The sign on the front window reads: "CLOSED."

Do you ever wonder what happens inside? Do the mannequins come to life and talk about ...

Inspired by the line "...now I write my apologies in songs and broken rhymes..." from TheSerpentTheCharmer's text record. I just got this vision stuck in my head of text peeking out from behind chevron cutouts on an image, so I did it. And I just love love love this original image from mouette.

So after the initial ASL (American Sign Language) idea that I had went to hell earlier on tonight, I still wanted to do a little something ASL-related while it was still on my mind.

Just a simple slideshow-type video spelling out h-i-t-R-E-C-o-r-d. I have the individual letter image frames saved, if anyone wants me to upload a zip file of them all. Whatever use anyone may have for this-- go nuts with it.

Traces of her stale perfume lingered in the balmy night air as she tip-toed home. Long city blocks, high-heels in her hand, and the moon over her shoulder.

Badge02

I had a bit of spare time tonight and for some reason I just felt like drumming up a cute & simple little badge. I think it would be swell if people chose to print it out on some sticky paper and maybe wear it to the Summer in the City events, so we can all know who's who..? Just a thought, but do what you will with it. ;)

It's approximately 3 1/3" x 2 1/3" (at 300 DPI) which is a seemingly standard name tag size.
