I took this awesome Postal Service sounding beat from Mystery Dance...Keep in mind I both wrote and recorded the vocals at midnight last night so there will be some definite tweaking. But we all know I have a trigger finger when it comes to posting things before they are perfect.  So take this as the idea and direction as opposed to the finished product. and if anyone wants to mess with the vocals, let me know and I'll upload the stems separate. So Mystery Dance put out this amazing song! I fell in love with his words and his guitar tracks...I'm hoping I didnt ruin it by omitting his vocals. I just wanted to give you a minor look at what I plan to do with the song. There is much more to it but i wont upload the rest until its complete. I hope you enjoy the beginning stages of this one ;) and if you haven't checked out anything from Mystery Dance yet...he's got some hidden gems many of you may be interested in!

Bored one night so i messed around with some video of my face/eyes. This song is AMAZING so of course I wanted to use it as my test ;)

Combined with both My vocals from (And It Was All A Dream) and Metaphorest's Vocals (with new effects) from (The Synth Will Save Us)

So here is my second attempt at this video. I wasn't completely happy with the first try so here is the second attempt! I am also not 100% with this either so I may shoot for a third ;) It was a lot of fun to make and I hope you really enjoy it. So many beautiful resources...and impeccable music by William and Bell!

My eyes were virtually closed when Keir sent me a link to this song. Wasn't even going to listen to it until tomorrow morning, but I managed to pull my headphones on at 1am to give it a quick listen! But it was so damn good I couldn't fall back to sleep. It is now 4am and this is what I managed to create in my exhaustion...it's either complete shit or true genius! haha  Either way my ears can't tell....too tired!!! I'm i'll end up redoing it

Off to bed for me with 2 hours of sleep remaining!

So this beat needs drums and bass...it also needs to be remixed in anyway you see fit. I would like to ultimately see two different versions of this piece, one of which being a more somber, melodic orchestral piece, the other being an upbeat dance mix. I would like to see some really nice vocals on this.

I like to post just a few instruments and give a slight structure to get your HitRECorder minds racing. I've been having a lot of fun just messing with different sounds and structures.

Somehow every time I find a beat I want to sing to, it's usually the first link I click on that sends me the perfect lyrics. I always get a little nervous when I use something from Metaphorest because I'm slightly intimidated by her amazingness on HitRECord but I couldn't help myself. The words to wolf blood were just too good to pass up and I just went for it. The soothing sound of Riggsyfort's "Past Days Collaboration" suited the story line perfect. I hope you both enjoy this rendition of your wonderful work :)

Stems will be uploaded shortly :) I have a collaborative concept for this but I want to wait and see how it's perceived first. I actually really love all the stems on this one so I would be excited to hear it as a whole or to have someone take bits and pieces and make them into something entirely different. I can envision it being really dark or more upbeat. I might make this into a collaboration if anyone is interested :)
