KID's RECommendations
A REmix of the "RE: Cinema" discussion with cinematographer Wally Pfister at the "hitRECord at the Movies" show at the BFI in London. I especially liked when Wally mentioned how Hal Ashby's work would later go on to be very important to him. I think it would be interesting to explore our early influences at some point collaboratively.
Here's a cut of live RECording at the BFI show, focusing on the element of audience participation for the "Bunny Carrots" collaboration.
Much thanks to all the RECorders hitting the red button during the London showwwwww.
I finally got some free time and I just wanted, needed so much to contribute video to the Attilee' collaboration. The Gloamy Part of Town - great illustration by MelonBerri. The video, I guess, is like an adaptation of Metaphorest's wonderful poem. And with mysterious V.O. by pamagotchi, and tonguecutsparrow's music.
:) I love that feeling, when REmixing smth, that it's like we're making it all together.
P.S. so easy now to search resources entering last numbers instead of titles.
This little guy is tired of being a shadow for a living so he goes on an adventure instead. It probably doesn't fit into the canon of the shadow beings universe but I loved the idea of a little shadow creature running around in the woods, so here it is.

BURNING dAN brightly embodied that bold beastly bliss sometimes referred to as "the creative spirit." He was my chief collaborator on the foundational incarnations of hitRECord.org over the years and continues to inspire us ever the more. He would absolutely positively insist that we not let this bad news deter us on our collective mission. That said, I might not feel up to it for a little while. Watching this community blossom into what it has become never ceased to amaze him and me. We would regularly marvel at it and high five. Thank you all for that. There he is now pouring heaping hollowed watermelons full of love over each and every one of us. Let's celebrate him, he's fucking awesome: http://www.hitrecord.org/records/234697 See you real soon, thanks again... <3 |

Download some of the RECords, REmix 'em, or contribute albums of RECords on the site you think would make for great footage for future edits. Or, better yet, go shoot some new footage and contribute that to the collab.
Everyone's been doing a grand job on these trailers... Keep it up!!! They're looking great!!!
