Hope For Haiti
We all have our issues and everyday stress,
We learn the hard way Mother Nature leaves the biggest mess.
She brought on them a massive 'quake;
Left a path of tragedy in its wake, to make all our heads shake.
The question they ask: Now how do we live?
We have the answer, we need to give.
We need to help them cope,
Show them that there is still hope.
Let's all find a way,
if all you can do is pray.
The time is now, don't wait;
The time is now, donate.
"Hills Like White Elephants" has always been one of my favorite short stories. There is so much to it; so much symbolism. I think we should do something with it. Hemingway wrote it in 1927; but from what I can tell, it's public domain. If someone knows otherwise please let me know!
