Long story short, my parent's basement flooded roughly over 4 feet post Hurricane Irene. As we have been cleaning out the basement we have found lots of crap, but some other real things of value. One of the things discovered was a box of 45's. Everything from Rolling Stones, Beatles, Monkees, Four Tops, Byrds, and even Engelbert Humperdinck! Now, I am sure they are unplayable because they had been sitting in a water-logged cardboard box for a little over a week and many of them are covered in mud. I nearly had a heart attack when my mother tried to throw them away.

Currently I have them strung up on a chord across a fence in the backyard trying to dry. There are a select few that I am going to try and clean up, mat, and frame and give them back to my parents as christmas gifts BUT i have (what I roughly estimate to be around 100) and I have no idea what to do with them! I was thinking it might be really cool to start a collaboration (especially since this community loves RECords :) and, I/and or other kids in the Philadelphia area, can kind create tangible artifact(s) out of them like a sculpture or something? I don't know but I really couldn't throw them away.

Any and all suggestions would be 150% welcome! Thanks guys, I am sure we can come up with something amazing!!
