I watched Anita's extended Vinyl cut, and noticed that quite a few things were missing from it that I thought should be represented. Especially all the different types of rarities, and modern day vinyl in general. So I've recorded a short video, showing off some rare/weird records including demos, remixes, coloured records, etc. http://beta.hitrecord.org/records/663443
The ground-floor apartment loved giving piggy back rides to all 49 of its friends.
I didn't have any use for my invisibility cloak anyway, because no-one ever noticed me or asked me to play.
Two vinyl records are chatting:
Vinyl #1 (pointing at #2's grooves): "Hey! Nice tattoo! I like how it goes around, and around, and around."
Vinyl #2: "Thanks man. You know me, I'm always under the needle!"
INT. LIVING ROOM - MORNING
ALICE stands looking out of her window, watching for the postman. When he arrives, she grabs a large sealed package, pulls on her dressing gown, grabs her keys and leaves her apartment.
INT. CORRIDOR - MORNING
ALICE spies on the postman down the corridors of the building as he delivers the mail, being careful not to get detected. She looks at the package in her hand, marked with her own address, and as the postman makes his way down one of the corridors, she adds her parcel to the pile left outside one of the doors. She checks the coast is clear and sneaks away back to her apartment.
INT. BEDROOM - MORNING
ALICE is in the bedroom, frantically getting dolled up. When finally ready, she returns to the living room and rests her head on the arm of the couch while staring at the front door. She slowly begins to shut her eyes. She is awoken by the sound of a single knock at the door. She rushes to the door and opens it to find the parcel at her feet, and looks quickly left and right to spot a man rushing off down the corridor.
ALICE: (knowing he is already gone/disappointed) "Wait...please."
ALICE closes the door behind her, and leans up against it, visibly disappointed. She sits the parcel on her coffee table, carefully open it, and a TV remote control slides out of the package. She uses the remote to turn off the TV. She grabs the nearest object and reluctantly stuffs it into the open package, and reseals the envelope, then puts it back where the original envelope sat. She sighs.
ALICE: "Maybe tomorrow, then."
ALICE walks out of the frame.
This is the first draft, so I'd really appreciate feedback and collaborators are welcome.
