I've been working on this for another project with tumblr, but I realized it could make a good sky for falling if someone wanted to animate (or combine it with an existing animation of) someone falling through it.

If anyone's interested I can upload a zipped PSD with the layers to make the stars and snow move.

I take a lot of inspiration from public transit maps, and the cities collab got me thinking about what hitRECord might look like in public transit map form. Excuse the ghettoness of my marker creation - I don't have the software to create a professional looking subway map (or the know-how). But I thought the concept was interesting.

Part of a dream series I've started on and off in different media; Dreams and inspiration fall along the same line for me as it unfurls and branches out in various things, designs, with a spiral of life to it.

my niece (in this shot she is 3) would mimic EVERYTHING my mom would do... she was my mom's shadow and like an 'opihi (limpet) stuck to a rock, she would never be far from her Puna's side. *Puna is an endearing term for Grandma, similar to Nana or Grammy.
