voiceover artists, animators & illustrators. here's a list of stories from the Tiny Book V2 that we need tiny films of, for the ebook and promos.
1. (son of an impossible love)
One day she looked up and discovered an opening in her planet.
She wondered if she wasn't alone after all.
2. (November)
It was almost late November.
I decided to live in a tree, and you came to visit me.
3. (Werewolf Accountant)
With a well-paying job,
and a stable position
the call of the wild
was never an option.
4. (things that make me happy)
this is the saddest, most depressing music i've ever heard.
it makes me so happy.
5. (all mood no message)
We agreed from the start: All mood, no message.
6. (commercial edge)
You have reached the edge of the world.
Please stand behind the barrier
and take no photos.
7. (News)
more messages after these messages.
8. (flight of the foxes)
and when the day is done
i will follow you into the sun.
9. (SGoodreau Scorpion)
After you died I realised that I never really liked hunting.
I just liked hanging out with you.
10. (a civilised death)
Savage mice overran Malory's home until she built a better mousetrap and attracted a more elegant class of rodent.
11. (An Archetype)
As my story came to a close
I realised that I was the villain all along.
12. (snail shower)
Hidden well
beneath every shell
is a propellor for galactic travel.
13. (Bird Reaper)
Arise, little one...
fellow Reaper of Souls.
Now let us prey.
14. (dragon egg)
i was having a day nap and i had a dream that you bought me a dragon egg, and i woke up and said where's my dragon egg? and you were like 'what dragon egg??' and i slowly remembered and said 'oh, nothing...' and felt stupid.
15. (on a dream)
i came here on a dream
but when the dream was over
i was left behind.
16. (a dream like dream)
Life and Death took a break,
weary from their burdensome roles.
Nobody lived or died that day.
17. (tulips)
Once last time I look around...
as I am lifted off this ground for good.
18. (a new angel)
i once met an angel who held the source of all things in balance.
she let me have a go but then sneaked off
and now i'm stuck.
19. (inky people)
Ambiguity lived in a place
with some people
who did some things.
20. (RUN)
Dear world behind me:
I know you are an infinite hive of possibilities coming alive
that will sneakily snap back if i try to catch you in the act.
So I'm not going to!
But just know... that i'm on to you.
21. (Upside Down)
Neither knew who turned whose world upside down.
But it's safe to say, nobody cared.
Some of you have been writing new stories for the 'things that make me happy #1' record, so I thought I should upload a new version without the text.
I can always get rid of the textured background if need be.
The original text read:
things that make me happy #1:
Listening to sad music while having happy thoughts...
a sort of stream of consciousness-y thing ive been writing lately. i saw this timelapse vid today by bluebudgie and was really inspired to experiment with it. i understand how this might be seen as political or preachy or offensive.. but i honestly dont mean to be any of those things. it is directed at me more than anyone else. there's a lot of literary reference nod's in the text.
sub-point: the track is an instrumental version of everything is on fire
(THIS is the one! :D sorry!)
I couldn’t resist singing to Ryan Patrick’s piano piece ”Life Is Shit Without You In It”, not only because of the cute piano but because of the awesome title. Unfortunately after I sung it once, my microphone broke (again L !) But I chose to upload this anyway, because it sounds a bit pathetic and goofy, which fits the lyrics :P I also added some strings, bass and drums.
I might still work on this when I get my microphone fixed, but before that, here is the most poppy pop song I have ever sung! :)) Let me know what you think!
Enjoy <3
Lyrics:
I’ve been to work, drank some coffee and tea, spent some time with my friends and my family
Though some days I feel like I wanna dye dye dye my hair, I think my natural colour is fine
I’ve seen some movies, the ones that make me laugh Not one has been unhappy Not one has been sad
Though one day I could do nothing but cry cry cry
it was ’cause I was making granny’s special onion pie
So thank you for asking, as you can see
Oh
I am as happy as I can be
It’s just that my life is shit without you in it
Don’t get me wrong,
it only feels like there’s a knife
in my heart, nothing big,
you only ruined my life
And no, I really don’t mind staying up all night thinking: ”Why did you leave?” na-ah, that’s just fine
Don’t look so shocked, things could be worse
Oh
It’s no big deal, I will survive
But my life is still shit without you in it
(and then just pure sillines…;))
I love andrewhip's poems, and since WILL YOU READ TO ME is one of my favorites, I wanted to turn it into a song... I hope you like it! You can find the poem in the resources, I remixed it a bit.
I also looove "monsters, mermaids, castles and kings" by sojushots, so I used it as custom icon!
Enjoy <3
I love wirrow's "give me all the flickering lights" poem, and I've been wanting to record some music to it since I first heard it. I had this idea of making music without "real" instruments, but with objects that were not made for playing purposes. Earlier today I thought of glasses, and this is what I came up with. I will upload the audio version later, I just wanted to show you that all the sounds are really coming from glasses ;D maybe this can also be useful as a raw footage?
Enjoy<3
I really love "crashing" by wirrow, and it inspired me to make this tiny song... (I know my pronunciation sucks but I trust you still understand :D) Enjoy<3
Lyrics:
This is it, we're on the edge of everything
We ran so fast we didn't see it coming
We kept on making lies, it was easy to believe in them
Now it's the time to pretend we didn't se it coming
This is it, we're on the edge of all we know
We didn't look back when we could, and now we can't
We kept on making promises, and we kept on breaking them
Now we're gonna pretend we didn't see it coming
Ladies and Gentlemen, we're crashing. Please enjoy the ride.
I had this big inspiration a few minutes ago, so I just had to record it... It's a tiny song I just wrote (it lasts only 1min10sec), and, because it was important for me to get the lyrics right, it's in Finnish! Hahaa I wonder how it sounds to you...
(For those who didn't know - shame on you! - Finnish is the language we speak in Finland which is a country in Northern Europe. You know, the country Conan O'Brien loves.)
Here are the lyrics - in Finnish and in English... enjoy my bizarre language<3

On elämä kummallista tosiaan - Life is very strange indeed
Täällä yksi yössä laulaa vaan - Here this one is just singing
Vaikka pitäis mennä nukkumaan - Even though it's time to sleep
Mut aika on huijari, pelkkä haamu - But time is a cheater, only a ghost
Tääl voi olla yö, mut tuol jossain on aamu - It might be a night here, but somewhere it's morning
Siellä heräilen parhaillaan - I'm just about to wake up there
Nää sävelet ilmassa soi yksinään - these melodies fly alone in the air
Ei niistä kiinnostu yksikään - and absolutely no one cares
Kuluvat sekunnit mua säestää - the passing seconds are accompaning me
Tää hetki on mun, jo nukkuvat muut - This moment is mine, others already sleep
Talo ja taivas ja piha ja puut - The house and the sky and the yard and the trees
En vois pyytää enempää - I couldn't ask for more
Mut hetken kestää hetki vaan - But a moment lasts only for a moment
Se on ohi ennen kuin huomaatkaan - It's gone before you know it
