Can anything ever be limitless? Are limits good or bad? Do they encourage us on constrict us? It may sound negative but everything eventually comes to an end, is that why we limit ourselves? Do we do it to prolong the experience, maybe? Because if we didn't have limitations where would anything end? When would anything end? How would they end? The more you think about it the more you ponder the more you ask, WHY?
There are obvious reasons as to why have limits, like speed limits on roads it lowers the risk of lives coming to harm, it lowers congestion and ultimately makes our environment safer. There are limits on how much we should eat, how much exercise we should do, how much money we can earn. Limits control us; they influence us, the world around us. Who makes the decisions? Who is it that decides?
I cannot think of anything that is not affected by limits. Gender for instance, equality has been a long hard battle and it’s still going on. Religion, a world no one will fully understand, but we all have some connection to. Race, why should where we come from determine what we do in life? Social Status, why should how much money we have affect the way we live? Art, what makes good art and what makes great art? Where is the line drawn? Should there even be a line?
