Short, simple, recorded both the intro and outro in one go-- just wanted to add to your pool of options here =)

One of the two or three pictures I took for Jo's old 'Naked' collaboration-- I thought it'd be a decent profile picture for now. |

Jonathan's favorite bedtime story, read aloud.
11:11
For the 11:11 collaboration-- I noticed the time on the oven clock and had to run upstairs to get a camera, any camera before it changed. I saw my cell phone first and grabbed it, hence the horrible quality.
Can't wait!

A short story Despite being a self-professed writer, I haven't really released any of my work here because I've never been sure about how the written word really fits into HitRECord. I'm taking a plunge-- woo! I've been kicking this one around for a while and I'm finally posting it. It's drawn from life, but not completely autobiographical. It isn't my best work, but I'm fond of it regardless, and for some reason it seems appropriate for tonight. Download the Word Document, please-- reading it there feels better than reading it in forum-style, I think. |

It was raining outside this morning and it was quite beautiful. Snapped a shot through the glass door. My pathetic attempt at photography. =P

Eight Months, Two Weeks, and Two Days of Grief (and Counting)
Very impulsive RECord. I lost my soul mate last July and needed to vent. I did so on paper, and then into a microphone. Beware-- when I start to talk about him, I find it difficult to stop. If you have ten minutes to spare, then listen to my heartfelt whinging. Otherwise, you'd best skip this one.
If the speech seems a little theatrical... well, mainly it's because that was the way we talked to one another. He was a drama queen and I loved it, so I imitated it.
First impulse is to apologize for being emo, but I refuse to do so on the basis that every word of this comes from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys and I trust you all. If you've lost someone, especially a partner/soul mate, then I hope you can identify.
Hmm. During the uploading, the last word got cut off. I was intending to say "come back." I'm leaving it this way, though. I think I like it better unfinished.
