My brother and I filmed a live action sequence of the Food Penguin to be REmixed however seen fit.

My brother will take the footage back to New York and edit it (ever so slightly) pretty much to clean-up any obviously unusable takes. However, it'll be REalised fairly RAW and in some instances (specific shot set-ups) where the camera rolls (or jump cuts) where I (portraying the "Food Penguin") do a few takes back-to-back trying out different things, taking direction from my brother, or just outright laughing.

We filmed a variety of different shots and inserts simply for options for potential REmixes and REsults.

There's still more to be added. For continuity sakes we specifically shot medium to close-ups to avoid the fact that I did not have white gloves (as seen in the over-the-shoulders of the original Food Penguin), as well we neglected other props such as the "eatplate containing the baby-bunny". Some of those inserts can be easily added by the talented members of hitRECord.

Other than that, we shot some cut-aways and complimentary shots to Triple-M and the Personette's POV of the "Morgan & Destiny" live action version. We also gave it a high contrast, blew out the background, and tried to match the style at least complimentary to the original video enough to be usable. The B&W and other style choices can of course be done in post by whomever REmixes the footage.

Hope it's usable, but either way, it was definitely a fun shoot!

Finally, the codecs issue in capturing was solved. The month long endeavor of the live-action version of the Food Penguin is ready for REmixing, however I'm afraid perhaps 2 weeks too late ;)

I REleased it anyway if anyone wanted to use it. Might as well, my bro and I spent a lot of time and effort on it (mainly him).

I hope, Mr. Brewster, you don't take this as stepping on your toes in anyway nor think that I have perhaps similar silliness in the fact that you picked up the slack and shot a live-action Food Penguin yourself. Not only did you film a live-action Food Penguin in time to be REmixed, BUT you also REmixed all the REsources into an AWESOME "final" product for Mr. Morgan M. Morgansen. Kudos to you!

Again, if anyone wants to use this for any further REmixes, all are welcomed. If not, completely understandable. It took quite awhile to RElease this and there's already enough awesome Triple M mixes out there :)

FOR THE EDITORS WHO MIGHT USE THIS FOOTAGE FOR A REMIX:

Shot 1:

The appearance of the Food Penguin ("Morgan pinkified as the foodbringer apparated, penguin-dressed."). With the eye-brow raise this footage could last throughout (or most of) the description of him: "The gent was simply seeable as a skog – his downlooking headfront formed as if he ever had a facehole full of sour-yellows". There's another option for the description of his seeming "facehole full of sour-yellows", but I'll get to that later ;)

There's about 3-4 takes to work with.

Shot 2:

Triple M's POV. This shot is from Morgan's perspective as the Food Penguin takes his order. The shot last through the dialogue (low gibberish in terms of lip movement) beginning with "enquesting Morgan on his desirated eatplate", through "And how would you preferate your bunnybaby, sir; black, brown or bleedy?", through taking the Personette's order, through the holding in of the "snorgle-fit", through the drink order, and all the way to the wink (boomeranged gesture of the shutting of the solo see-globe).

There's about 3 takes to work with.

Shot 3:

The Personette's POV. All of the action and dialogue of shot 2, but from the Personette's POV.

I think only 2 takes to work with.

Shot 4:

When the Food Penguin notices the couple and their romantic going-ons and his exaggerated warm response. This part of the story:

"Through the hardclear of the eatroom, the formerly falsituous foodpenguin lifted his citrus lips at the passion-paired persons. How could a humanian fail to be emotated by such a celebratious encoupling?"

I think it's only 2 takes to work with, but they're long with plenty to use.

Shot 5:

An extra insert to potentially use for the same part of the story as the previous shot.

Shot 6:

This was the alternative shot for the intial description of the Food Penguin's seeming "Facefull of sour-yellows", basically his demeanor and specifically his sour-puss :)

A little bit of advice if you use this exaggerated close-up (which I've been referring to as the "Ren & Stimpy"/Spongebob close-up). I wouldn't cut away from Shot 1 (the Food Penguin's entrance) immediately to this, if you plan on even using Shot 6. I'd break it up with another shot. Just my opinion, but again, this is just a silly comical shot (well, it's all somewhat silly and comical I suppose) we shot for the heck of it. This particular shot may or may not be useful to you REmixers.

Also, though it's 2 takes, I do break throughout each take to try out different things, look up at the monitor to see if I'm in frame, laugh at something, take direction from my brother, etc. So watch out for that. They're not smooth takes; takes within takes you know. Especially at the end when I take the "penguin" metaphor literally; goofing around. My brother left that in because it amused him ;)

* * *

Well, sorry again it took me so long to RElease this, but I hope this footage is useful to someone. If not, it was definitely fun to make . Thanks for the fun project ;)

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this or not.

I spent a good long while on the internet trying to figure out who this athlete was, and when I finally did, tried to contact his legal representation to find out what I could or couldn't do with this photo (and even asked if they'd like to use it). No answers or response so I guess it's free-game. Not sure though, so please feel free to delete this photo if need be.

At this moment this particular athlete had just won an event (can't recall which one it was unfortunately). It was obviously a very powerful experience for him and I hope I at least captured a portion of that power and emotion with this photo :)

I have of course a wide shot of the aquatics center, aka the Water Cube, but I also took this close-up for the LED (or something that changed colors) siding of the building.

My idea is, if this were to be used in a REmix, that it could serve as some sort of textural template of some kind. Who knows if it'll even be useful for a REmix, but I think it was pretty fascinating architecture and thus wanted to share regardless.

Not a big of the concept of Patriotism. However, I have to say, I felt like I accidentally caught one of those inspirational moments of patriotism (of which I usually don't really relate to) that you'd find in a magazine or movie. Well, I think if it's a nifty picture (but by no means do I consider myself a photographer), and if anyone feels a sense of national pride from this photo of a random fan waving a tiny piece a cloth, then I'm suppose I'm glad I could make you inspired.

However, if anyone does get that feeling from this photo, then please explain it to me. I still don't get it.
