A duet for piano that I wrote following the unfortunate end of a loving relationship.
I might be a little late on this train...but wow...such a beautiful piece. I wanted keep it nice and spacious. It helped to see the dancing videos. Thank you for giving us this.
I don't know WHY this won't work on here. I've been trying to get this uploaded for DAYS. Hope this finally works.
I've kinda lost my musical mojo of late, so this if my first attempt to get back into music.
I was inspired by HayleyElise's and shanaynaynaomi's illustration..and megancarne's stunning music!
Any feedback would be much appreciated, feel like I am stumbling in the dark a little at the moment!

Gather round closer and before I forget
I will tell you the tale of the Marionette
And though beauty bloomed in the strokes of her face
Her puppeting heart was where magic took place
Marionette all tangled in strings
Like a bird in a cage they tied up her wings
Dance on little puppet girl you'll never be free
From the hands that keeps you from liberty
Filled up with stuffing her stitching was torn
So sat the marionette sad and alone
All night the button tears fell from her eyes
As she wished for her freedom on stars in the sky
One day she summoned her courage and gall
To cut free from her fastenings once and for all
To soar and to dance wherever she pleased
She took some old scissors and cut herself free.
This is a poem I wrote called Secrets of the Night Sky.
Here's the text:
Flower children dance between the moons
kicking off their shoes to feel their feet running
free, stringing stars to adorn themselves in wild
costumes, and breaking through
unknown astronomical layers lost in the wild
night sky. And while they're running
free, the nighttime dreams of moons
moons running wild
through
wild running moons

I would love it if this had animation, music, whatever, so get your remix on!
I added more of you howlers into the mix at the end. Still looking for more howlers to contribute! I have a large plan for this song and I can't really get to mixing the finishing touches until I put a cap on the howlers. So. If you want to howl for this song, get on it by the weeks end and don't forget to source the recod so I can find you and source you back in the final product. Planning on putting up a "final" mix on Monday night. At least as far as being ready for sundance goes.
lyrics:
milky skin kissed with moonlight
apple cheeks, pert and flush
strawberry hair, creamy fingers
in the trees a hush
there are wolves in the woods (x4)
I'm not really an animator myself, but I thought I'd just give it a go. I wanted to do something a little sinister because of the wolf. I just adore it. ;D
Excerpt of Billy Bell's Lunge Dance Collective's "Amber" (2010)
Dancers: Chelsea Thedinga and Gage Self
Tara Langdon and Jeremy Coachman
Ali Castro and Alex Cottone
Shelby Colona and Ryan Spencer
Sydney Lotuaco and Jeremy Coachman
Choreography by: Billy Bell
Made this for no good reason. I pictured a '77 Firebird (black, of course) driving off into the sunset..... and so should you.
Inspired by Drive..... obviously. :)
It's rough, but I think it has potential. ;) Feedback, requests, et cetera always welcomed.

Lyrics:
Like autumn leaves I'm falling
Tumbling to the ground for you
Lost a hold of where I've once been
Captured by a gust of you
Swept away by you
Made to dance in your breeze
Left to flutter aimlessly
Like autumn leaves I'm falling
I'm falling for you
Helplessly I'm falling
I'm pulled away by you
Like autumn leaves I'm falling
I'm falling
I'm falling
I'm falling
