RE: Upcoming Live Shows

	EXCITING NEWS! I wanted you all to know as soon as possible that we're gonna be announcing a bunch of upcoming live shows that'll be all around the Los Angeles area! We'll definitely make sure the hitRECord community is the first to hear about them, so we'll be making tickets available to you guys FIRST via the site. These shows are gonna be really unique as they'll be a big part of how we "hitRECord On TV" together. We'll be continuing the collaborations we've started here on the site, and making all kinds of things at the shows. It's gonna be a TV shoot unlike any other. I can't wait! Due to the nature of TV production schedules, many of these live show announcements and on-sales are gonna be a bit last minute. But, we'll try to announce as many details as we can. - even if we don't have specifics, I know you guys like to make plans. :) So please stay tuned to the site, as we'll be updating everyone as soon as possible. We'll be sure to put up the on-sale details 24 hours in advance to give everyone a fair shot at securing tickets. And speaking of updates, we're going to be having our first live show here in LA on June 30th. The tickets will go on-sale Thursday, but we'll announce ticketing details with at-least 24hours notice. The Ghost Story of Lake Campou

While at the hitRECord House of Awesomeness in Michigan, Kouralilly put forward the idea of co-writing a ghost story, collaboratively all together. So, we sat in a circle. TheSerpentTheCharmer kicked off the first paragraph, and then we all went 'round adding sentences, words, or even full parts until we had told a complete story.

I RECorded it so that it could then be transcribed by Annmarie57, and we could turn it into a short film the next day [because that's how we rolled].

This is the audio file of that story filled evening, with some added captures of the subsequent raw collaboration that followed.

TheSerpentTheCharmer then took the transcribed text and adapted that into a short story and script. From there, Kouralilly built her shotlist and away it went into the day. So then, was born a short film to be titled, 'The Tide' - by everyone present at the house that evening.

In the spirit of doing things the hitRECord way, here is my untouched RAW material from the narrative portions of the "Mess" (a Musical Short Film) - You know, rather than just delivering a deliverable.

Several things to note:

We wanted to tell the story through action and emotion only.

You can add a soundtrack or even make the soundFX. Door opening, keys hanging, footsteps, heartbeats, etc.

The lengthy Scene# 2A wide establishing shot is usable for several things. You could add your own dialogue over our action and completely transform the scene.

The end of Scene# 3D, leads into the "musical" portion of the short which I did not want to post yet.
