I tried to get a video of the bottom of the stage, but I accidentally took one still instead. But looking at it, it looks like a happy accident - the motion in this picture looks really cool. I think it's a nice, abstract image of the beginning of the night. :)
Before the show started, I asked my two friends Jackie and Magda about what independence means to them.
A minute or two before the Sundance show started, I was able to get a nice shot from the back row of the bottom level of Eccles, showing everyone.
