Animated short music video for "I'd Rather Be the Wolf".  A very fun project to work on.

Hi guys!! These are my recommendations for this week; I am going to have some vacations the next week, so I am just uploading my RE REC video today, I’ll be back on Monday 9, so maybe I am not going to be able to make my RE RECS the next week, but we’ll see, maybe I´ll make something quick, because I feel bad when I don’t make my homework every Sunday haha!! RE RECS Sunday 1rst April 2012:

1. Best of Wishes (Greeting Cards) by KarlaMarie: I love this Greeting card made by karlaM, I think that the words and the image just work perfectly together and great example of how to make a beautiful greeting card!!!


2. Disappear into the Sunset by Rochelle Boucher: This picture is beautiful, I love the ocean and one of my favorite things are the sunsets, this one is just fantastic and the boat in the middle of the ocean and with the sun hiding behind is just great!!


3. Doodledress by ljhamilton: This is a fantastic doodle, I think that it can be useful for remixes, also somebody can make a tiny story or add some colors to that, great job!!!


4. Seashell Remix (Tiny Animation) by Hello Pastello: This tiny animation is really beautiful, I think that the whole idea and the story that this animation tell us is very clever and creative!!! 


5. Duckling of darkness (paper) by sinnamin: The bunnies hitrecorders are in everywhere, sin is just doing a great job making all this bunnies, ducks and hitrecorders on paper, this one is one of my favorites, I just love it, Great job sin, keep them coming!!!


6. Hitrecorders at work v2 by Emma Conner: Em is doing a great job making all this posters and ideas for hitrecord, the hitrecorders and HR logo, this one is just great, I think that it can be very useful for as a resource for remixes and also for a tiny film or something like that. :)


7. I said use your WITS!! (Color Pencil) by AnGee: This drawing is Fantastic, I think that it represent very well the true story behind LRRH, the expressions on the faces of the wolves, the LR and the grandma/mom are just amazing!! I definitely think that somebody have to be us this for the LRRH feminism collab!


8. Little Red the Rebellette by LydiaSaskia: This representation of the little Red that Lydia did is just great, I think that in some way a lot of women can feel identified with this character and its characteristics; I think that it can be very useful for the feminism LRRH collab!!! Love it!!


9. Jellyland Resistance (Animation) by abd abiad: Another Great animation made by abd abiad, I wish I could do something like that, I think that this is just perfect!!! Great job as always, I want to see moreeee! Please!!!


10. Nothing Big: A Shadow Remix by m00njumper: Hitrecorders, curators, everyone, please pay attention to this video, you are going to love it as much as I do, It’s great, very well done and it’s just brilliant!!! Great job m00njumper!! :)


11. Romeo’s Epitaph (Tombstone Tales) by Vedder: Love it, you did a great job with this V, very creative, now maybe somebody can make an illustration or remix for this great Tombstone tale!!! Awesome as always!!!


12. Mirror by Knocturne: This drawings us just amazing, I really like Knocturne style, I just saw some of his other records and they are all fantastic, so guys, check out his contributions, this one if one of my favorite but they are all great!!! Maybe somebody can write a tiny story for this great drawing, someone? :)


13. Mum’s Scary Stories by sojushots: Well, what can I say? Another fantastic drawing made by soju, as always his drawings inspired a lot of people included me to make remixes, tiny stories or even music, this is just great, one of my favorite so far!!!


14. My House (Mirtle REMIX + Tiny Story) by Joab Nevo: what a great combination the magic of a mirtle’s drawing and a great tiny story created by joab, this is a great example of how the HR writers can found a lot of inspiration in a lot of drawings and illustrations that we have at HR!!! Great job!


15. Of night breezes by saintmaker: Great picture, especially I love the color, and the details of the flower that saint caught when he took this picture are just amazing!!! Love it!!!


16. Singing Trio by Mirtle: Another one of my favorite hitrecorders, mirtle, she made this fantastic trio and I just love them, this is begging for a tiny story or a remix!!!! :)


17. Wolf Girl by ArtSnark: This is just beautiful, I love the colors and the texture of this drawing, I recommend this for remixes or maybe a tiny story!! :)

Music Recommendations:

-          Glass Music by ppeppina: Brilliant and awesome, ppeppina is just great; one of my favorite musicians at HR right now, and this is another example of why she is so fantastic!!! Love it!!!

-          Hevn Dub by Malicore: Malicore was one of the first musicians that I listened when I joined HR almost 2 years ago and I still love his work, this is really great so I had to use this for my video!! J

Wolly was different from all the other cats,

but he was never ashamed of who he was.

He carried a little bit less weight than the rest,

yet he never complained and handled it with grace.

P.S. I can't really draw but Wolly has been stuck in my head for ages.

So, I've been listening to TheMorningHollow's and pamagotchi's amazing song "Puppycat", and suddenly I had these lyrics in my head... I just had to sing it out, and it was too much fun! Not my usual style again, but jaaaazz, yess! ...I do more "not my usual style" stuff than my "usual style" stuff... oh well you gotta try everything! - (too many different records from Feminism in LRRH collab inspired me with the lyrics, so I will just add the collab to the resources. You guys know who you are!)

Creating cool characters is a great way to start developing stories that can evolve into short films, comic strips, or even songs. 

ILLUSTRATORS: Make new characters, or remix characters that already exist on the site. Contribute these to chloe04's "Character Collab" so we can remix them even further.

WRITERS: Find characters in the "Character Collab" and write stories about them. You can put them together with other characters or find collaborations that you can integrate them into.

I really love "why so shy little knit boy?" by sojushots and "Cactus and Balloon" by LydiaSaskia. These are awesome examples of characters that have been contributed to chloe04's collaboration. Now we can begin remixing them into their own stories.

Can't wait to see more characters from all of you guys!

a different version...for those who might wanna remix the characters without the title

I really loved JulesKD's piece and wanted to try something with it! :) Although, these articles in the papers usually irritate me and I never thought I would be making one myself. I can also imagine other columns in the Times to make it more like a newspaper: "Princess Refuses to Kiss Frog Despite Seven Hours of Friendship", "Heroic Prince Saves Chimneysweep By Proposing Marriage", "Woman Refuses to Clean Up After Dawarfs Despite Free Room and Board: When Will the Ungratefulness End?" etc. etc.
