Shane

Ray Lamontagne as an influence, you say...hmmm.  Let's see what you got for this.

I would love to see you dig deep lyrically and melodically for something like this.

Any structural ideas or changes. Let me know!

Don't mind the mix...yada, yada...

Always heard a big ole' production for this, BTW...

Enjoy,

William

Deeply personal, very specifically written for someone.

Decided to give you guys another EP track to play with :)

When composing this one, I had a favorite quote of mine in mind: "Every atom in your body came from a star that exploded. And, the atoms in your left hand probably came from a different star than your right hand. It really is the most poetic thing I know about physics: You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements - the carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, iron, all the things that matter for evolution and for life - weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in the nuclear furnaces of stars, and the only way for them to get into your body is if those stars were kind enough to explode. So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today." -Lawrence M. Krauss

I pictured an old man, living as a hermit in the forest. He is walking through the forest at night. He is very weak. He lays down on the forest floor and dies. Little specks of glowing stardust begin floating off his body into space, until none of his body is left. It has all gone back to the stars.

Yo, yo:-)

This is quick Cubase-mixdown of multitracked version of "ToiToi".

Recorded with my dear friend Dave Dhonau on Cubase, using TLM102 microphone

( my second baby;-)

I promise stems will be here tomorrow - so you can go crazy with remixing... We have got 40 tracks including  two basses, drones, beats, vocal, shakers, lemon-egg, einstein toy and many more to remix by You,

What dimension are you going to take it?  add to it whatever you wish... let's see where that will take us!

To confess, i wrote this song for my daughter and improvised it first on little loop station, lyrics were written when Amelie was six months. I collected my memories connected with her growing up and i put in the poem - life guideline ...

I put all my heart in this and i want to share with you,

I trust you lovely people!

I wrote this song once I stumbled on this picture.. http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m70fslhNBd1qlxbk4o1_500.jpg It's probably one of the most amazing things I've seen, so I made up a really sad story to go with it, and that's where this little tune came from

SergeAnei's song and her description reminded me of Beemo from adventure time
Soooo
On that note, I was inspired to write Adventure Time Bgm-esque beat track
It's fun, chippy, and tottally sounds like a lil' robot having fun!
Thanks SergeAnei for the composition :D

I was thinking about putting this song somewhere for quite sometime now and it just dawned on me that HitRecord would be the absolute perfect place to put it! Of course, with just putting this on here, i decided that I would also include the story line that went into the background of this song.

A little toy robot, at the bottom of the toy box, decided that he wants to go out and have himself a little adventure. Through the house, out into the back yard for a romp into the sandbox, maybe meeting some obstacles along the way but he winds up, back home in his toy box, pleased yet tired from his busy day, and dreams until morning for another adventure.

Now I do realize that animation takes quite a bit of time, and I'm working on drawing a storyboard for it right now, but I thought everyone would like to maybe give me some input on how it should go. I would be completely elated if someone would help me in the animation process, I can only draw up storyboards...

Thanks and enjoy my little composition: Little Robot
