Ok so this song is kinda the core of the whole album, the words are kinda an overview of the whole story. I'm not happy with my reading so what I'd really like is for some other people to give it a go. the text and the guitar part for the backing are resourced.

Right then, I've started to plan plans of making a musical album (in the non Hitrecord sense). I want to make it a truly Hitrecord affair and so I NEED YOUR HELP. To begin with I'm just looking for a show of hands of who is interested in helping me out. here is my wish list: A drummer strings (violin viola and cello would be nice) vocalists (I think I want to use different vocalists for each track, but we shall see how it goes.) lyricists (I want to take the lead on lyrics but all help is welcome.) Guitarists (lead and rhythm) Pianist (I think we need a better one than me!) producers (again I'm gonna take the lead I think, but help would be more than welcome.) If you can't help out with any of them fear not as possible the most important help needed is ears. Creative critique along the way for a start would be super, but first: I'd like to base all the tracks on my musical records but I need help! This is a big please to all with some time spare, I need opinions on which of my music (and text I guess) records are the best/fit together. I have some feelings as to what i want to use but i really need your input. The album will be based on mental illness and my experiences with it. I suffer from bi-polar disorder (although I've at times pretty much been diagnosed with everything under the sun) the album will tell the story of my first major episode and my recovery (with the help of friends) from it. right so who is up for helping?

now that I have a pc with music making software I wanted to celebrate with a bit of a game. I call it the remix relay.

heres how it will work: each player selects one of their tracks and makes sure they have the stems or loops from that tracks uploaded. I then pick from a hat so that each player has a song to remix. they then have to cover, remix or rework that tune. once the first round is over we re draw and all reREC a track from the first round. etc.

first lets just get an idea of who is interested. please nudge anyone who might be interested in taking part but doesn't notice this colab.
