Here are some ideas that popped into my head while watching 'The Anglerpod:'
-When the Anglerpod is watching TV, let's show some cut-away shots of what he's watching. For the first time, maybe he's watching some sort of romance where two anglerpods are in a passionate clinch. -For the ending, when he's watching TV again, maybe we could cut to a straight-on shot of another anglerpod on the TV, sighing dejectedly, mirroring his loneliness. The Anglerpod can't even escape his loneliness -As for dialog ideas, so as not to make the film too busy aurally with the song, the V.O. narration, AND dialog, maybe the dialog could be just random sounds. Like the lamppost could be assigned some sort of buzzy sound that flickers on and off. Any anglerpod voice could be portrayed by the sound you make when you try to talk or blow bubbles under water. That allow for a bit of nuance, but would still fall under the "sounds" catagory an not voices. Anywho, those are just a few ideas. Re-mix, Re-record, make 'em happen, make 'em don't, whatever. Run wild! |

Watching the fire glow, flicker. . . burn. . . smolder. . . Can I put that in your eyes? |
