"I really should be working," she muttered to herself while clicking on the next RECord. It was only 7:00. Technically, she had all night to do her work for tomorrow. "Just 30 minutes more, then I will go." She clicked, watched, listened, and read. She added things when she felt she could, or just sat back and Recommended or Remarked. When she finally looked back at the clock, it was 3:00 in the morning. "Fuck!" she exclaimed, realizing how late it was and how much work she had to do. She looked back at the screen. "Five more minutes."

"My, what big ears you have," said Red Riding Hood, playing into the Wolf's facade until she could locate her grandmother's axe. She finally spotted it in the corner of the room and quickly grabbed it. "The better to he-" The Wolf could not finish his statement, for he was soon in two pieces.

She stood there, shaking, as the doors of the church rattled and their horrible moans filled the air. She had seen the news. The world was coming apart bit by bit as the bloodthirsty hordes were attacking and growing. How could this happen? For the first time in her life, she felt ambivalent and unsure about her faith.

She heard them banging on the doors, throwing their dead, rotting bodies against the wood trying to get in. Finally, the doors gave way. She saw the first of them, a man with half a face, approaching her with hunger in his eyes. She knew what she had to do. She said a prayer for his soul, aimed the gun at his head, and pulled the trigger.
