I took this photo from the window of my old flat in Gateshead in 2006 but thought it would work well for the 'We live in a Magic World' collaboration. 

I didn't do any post-processing on the photo to make the clouds that red colour: they really were that colour. 

It was quite ominous to see clouds of such a deep red roll across the skyline on an otherwise clear night.

It looked like the end of the world had come ...

(But seven years later I'm still here, so they were just red clouds!)
