The ancient Greeks called them "sarkos heteras"..."strange flesh." They were the angels that came to Earth. Tired of eternal boredom, they defected. They were the penultimate outsiders. They were outcasts from Heaven. And sarkos heteras, strange flesh, on Earth.

They pro-created, or shall we say cross-pollinated with humans. Their offspring, became the ultimate outsiders: Nephilim.  

Considered outsiders in all the realms: Heaven, Earth (and the rest of the universe)...even Hell. Nephilim. No one wanted these soulless creatures. Or were they soulless?

Against all odds, they learned to live amongst humans. They learned to seek each other out.  Finally, they learned to love.

And intuitively, each and everyone of them loved Motown. So much for being soulless.
