Day Glo, our Text Curator, has a few words regarding all the different ways the community can remix text on the site.

Here's how YOU could remix text:


WRITERS & TEXT REMIXERS: You could turn a poem into a story, or a story into a screenplay, or an abstract stream of consciousness monologue into... something else!


Keep in mind that the text you remix doesn't have to be of entire records either; you can take bits and pieces from all different kinds of text records and remix them into something entirely new and different. You can even branch out into the Public Domain for text resources to remix.

    Hey there, I am currently studying my 1st yr in art degree, I've been given a brief based on typography, If I find anything of use I can use for my project can I use it? and of course record it on hitrecords?

    Text RECords should absolutely remix like the telephone game. You know, constantly maturing toward absurdity or brilliance with every iteration.
