When I went into his office for the interview he gave me a firm handshake and smiled.

We laughed the entire time. It was more like telling a story than being interrogated.

He asked me a question I had never been asked before. He said, "What is the worst thing one of your previous bosses has ever said about you?"

I paused, having never actually thought of the answer before.

I replied, "I had a boss that hated how happy I was. She'd yell at me in the mornings and say 'If you have time to smile then you don't have enough work to do.'"

He laughed. And then he hired me on the spot.

I was never happier!
