A lot of you may have heard the lovely adds that ibkellymorris did with vocals on the second half here. I've made a new mix that incorporates those, I got some insight from snooping JeffPeff tweets (easy on the highs in your reverb EQ) and tried to apply it to vocals, and I also just adjusted and re-recorded a lil' of my vocal performances to match Kelly a bit better.  Tried not to do too much!!

I've compiled some recorders' notes that may be inspiration for new recording:

wirrow says:  maybe some light tambourining would go? tho i do love the simple arrangement i can imagine it opening up beautifully in the chorus with some strings maybe a cello or sthng and some acoustic drums

Van Gramsci says: i'm envisioning a simple percussion line based on a tom being struck on the off beat. too bad I don't have a drum set haha.

jared says: .. maybe some very light acoustic percussive sounds could be added?

lyrics:

Blame it on the green light

you're turning me on

blame it on the yellow light

when you start to yawn

yeah you just yawn

what's going on?

you always yawn

what's going on?

Blame it on the red light

when you say good night

can't forget those good nights

can't forget those good nights

on the road

you're so nice to know

Is it you inside my head?

is it you or what mama said?

am i mislead

by your color changing eyes?

They say it's time for bed

and I can't sleep here tonite

but thats alright

Blame it on the red light

when you say good night

can't forget those good nights

won't forget those good nights

on the road

you're so nice to know
