I love it! Bravo to wirrow, mattsoar and chigwinkle!!
I have one idea I wonder might be worth trying... Because the text appears on the screen, my eye goes to that. And because my eye went to the text, I think I missed a few of the great visual details in this piece. Each character's facial expressions, the bare feet under the desk, etc.
I saw those things on second viewing, so maybe it's all good. But I wonder if it's just worth trying a version without the text at the top. The VO is so good and clear, the audience will surely get the whole story without it?
thanks J! yeah i fell in love as soon as i heard his VO, i really do like little kids with very old internal voices! im confused was this featured but taken off?
(i did it all the time sherbs, i mostly got in trouble for untucked shirt or not shaving tho.. they made me shave on the spot! WITH JUST A RAZOR!)
Comment: How can this not be featured? This is a great example of finding the right pieces of the puzzle and making them all work together seamlessly. Originally, in my mind, the voice of the boy, was just that — the voice of the boy. I had heard MattSoar's VO before, and while I loved it, I didn't know if it'd be right. Thanks to the maestro Wirrow for making me see the light — this VO works perfectly as the boys internal monologue. Now I can't look at this Tiny Story without hearing MattSoar's voice. And, coupled with Chigwinkle's music, well, I'm melting.
Oh, and another thing — the image of the boy when he says 'Oh, nothing' — I love that. <3
