Hi there guys! Nothing too wacky here but I wanted to request a correction for the credit given for Art Direction on imdb. Currently it lists Marke (whom I know and love to bits) and while I understand that is the role Marke occupies officially in Hit record, it was rather myself that mostly oversaw 'art direction' for the Morgan I and II versions on imdb. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1655419/ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1640152/ |

Lawrie,
right-o. yeah, the imdb credits are a bit of an anomaly... no one from hitRECord.org had anything to do with this listing (hitRECord isn't even listed as the affiliated production company...) we'll reach out to them. thanks!

Awe thanks well i shouldnt think its a prob, i mean its really more a courtesy / request. It's important that despite anyone's official role in the production company at hitrecord, that individuals are properly credited within individual productions.
I've been complimented for art direction by many as regards to the visual world I designed and assembled. From myself for Morgan I, to overseeing the incorporation of others works (into my own) according to art designs produced by myself for Morgan II. Sure I did visual fx work, and yep one could say cinematography to an extent, but the 'design' work is all about art direction.
That unique post fx - visual aesthetic is the art direction credit that I would rather is corrected! Marke did some awesome titles but its incorrect to suggest he was (and you know i love you Marke) was 'art director.'

good luck with that, lawrie. i actually tried to get them to list the 2nd film as "elevenTEETH" date, after all that mixup, but the version that screened at SXSW sez "eleventeeNth" - and that's the way they're going to keep it, apparently.
...i also wish they had a photo of you as the food penguin. :-)
