This is taken over Clearlake in Northern California. I loved how a third of the way in the sky looks like its on fire.

tonight I put it up because i read a poem phonontek wrote on tumblr. i don't think he's released that on hitRECord yet. well maybe perhaps he might. His poem is called "Here Again."

I really like this piece of music. I added some rhythmic stuff towards the end.
There's also an album that includes only the elements I added, as well as a WAV file of the mix (a higher quality format than this mp3)
Did anyone catch the full moon the other night? I connected my Canon 50D to my Meade LX90 telescope and took 900 pictures which I converted to 300 HDR. Not sure if you can tell its HDR, but what the heck.
Thought it would be a fun background for you creative folk

This is the Coppola Building in San Francisco (Yes, owned by Francis Ford Coppola). It is one of my favorite buildings in the world which is why I can't help shooting it from many perspectives. For me, this is like a mini fireworks show.

i have this idea/experiment/game that id like to try out if anyone wants to play. id like to make an animation for the everythingisonfire video..
i thought it would be fun to draw some outlines of things.. [like this dude] and get people to colour it in.. and then put them all together frame by frame so it comes to life.
so iff you wana help out... :} print the template.. colour it in.. preferably firey colours but whatever..and remember to draw outside the lines goddamnit@£

I shot this tonight just before a lightning storm.
My neighbor gave me this cactus because he knows I am a "Time Lapser". This was a quick and oh so fun bloomer; it took only 24 hours! I did it with a blue background for a nature project that I'm working on, but keyed out to black in AE.

I went to Dolores Park this afternoon because the temp was 68 in SF and I knew that the park would be packed. I've been wanting to do more time lapses' of peeps and activities. Yes, its over-saturated, but I thought it would bring it more to life. Surely, one of my fellow HitRECorders would be able to use it.
Here's my version of stargazing. I did this last night because I couldn't resist how clear the sky was. This is taken over Clearlake in Northern California. I had the shutter open for 10 seconds which is why there's some noise, but you get the picture. Its only 2 seconds, but I managed to get a couple of planes, planets and shooting stars....Enjoy!
