I saw a girl exactly like me

Walking down the street

It's said we all have a twin somewhere,

But it's someone I never thought I'd meet

We stood in the middle of that street

Studying each other from head to toe

Was she real or was I dreaming

I really didn't know

I wondered if other people

Could see what I see

But as they walked on without a glance

Perhaps 'twas a ghost that stood before me

Was she an alien from outer space

Morphed to look just like me

Or was she an angel of Death

Dressed very stylishly

Whatever she was, I had no fear

How could I be scared of me?

As I reached out to touch her face,

She did the same to me
