As Annie strolled through the streets of New York City, she sense the presence of a young girl following her everywhere she went.  Annie walked into a cafe to buy a cup of coffee, as Annie approached the counter there she was, that same girl.  She was dressed a lot like Annie...similar clothes, same style of hair...who is this girl and what does she want?  ”Stop following me please,” Annie said.  The girl said nothing in reply.  Annie climbed the steps to the Met excited to see their latest exhibit.  As she walked from room to room her enthusiasm faded as she saw that same girl in every piece of art...there she was in every frame, in every piece of sculpture, keeping step with Annie, mirroring her every move.  ”Please, stop following me,” Annie pleaded.  The girl said nothing in reply.  Annie later ambled through Central Park towards the Conservatory pond to feed the ducks.  As she approached the water Annie saw the girl again, still mirroring Annie's every move, dressed like her, her hair the same... Suddenly Annie froze, scenes from the movie Single White Female flashed through her mind and she began to panic... “Please, I beg of you, stop following me.  You’re freaking me out!” Annie cried out.  Finally, the girl opened her mouth, “I can’t stop following you,” she replied, exasperated, “I’m your reflection.”
