PRESENT - A word of several meanings,

Is it simply a brightly coloured gift,

Given for the holidays in that annual time of excessive spending thrift?

Placed under a verdent fir-tree amid baubles and candy-canes,

Only to be hastily unwrapped in a flurry of excitement as the novelty wanes?

Or does it exist elsewhere, for an infinitum of nowness moments,

Stretching on forever, making you wonder where life's flow went?

Please dear reader don't live for yesterday,Or even think too far ahead to tomorrow,

Instead, live for now, right now and read these words as your helpful ward,

In a great gem of an adventure called hitRECord!

And, once you've read it,

Tell all to read, write, film, strum,

All enjoy every little bit,

Under each other's inspirational eyes, one of whom is a truly great man; called Mr. Gordon-Levitt!
