Present is a benevolent deity. She is who we are in every second of every hour of every day. She feels our emotions as we feel them. Every bit of pain, every stint of happiness, every heartbreak, every heart WE break, and every tear we drop. She is the spontaneous, the fire of inspiration in the now.

She is unlike her younger sister Future, who knows every end to everything that will ever happen. Future is too strict and by the book, always unwilling to deviate from what is to be written.

Present is also unlike her older brother Past, who spends eternity daydreaming of what was, of the good 'ol days. Nothing is ever accomplished in his world. He reads the same books, looks at the same pictures, and watches the same movies over and over. They remind him of better times. Past is going nowhere.

Present is not like them. Present blinks and breathes and feels like us all, and lives in the seconds we call moments. Present is an everlasting epiphany, waiting to inspire the world.
