If anybody has feedback on my percussion track I loved to know - good or bad ;)

You'll make it out alive. We're plenty alive, really. Can't you see my chest rising just as yours? I may have wires instead of veins, but I can tell you I'm completely happy. It only hurts for a moment, really. While the blade cuts through each muscle and bone and you watch the blood pour down your skin, you begin to accept your fate-- you're dead and there's nothing you can do about it. Sure enough though, you wake up. You feel like your head is aching but you can't say anything. You can only say whatever they tell you to-- whatever they put in that funny box. Ah, you call us monsters and try to kill us-- tell us we need to think to feel happy. Oh, we're far happier than you. There's no pain where we are, no fear. There's nothing to stop us from being the better race. Who's the murderer, really? Stop running and live.

Don't run. Running will only make it worse. Running always makes it worse. You have all suffered so much loss. So much pain. Agony has been the defining trademark of your existence -- and we have seen it. The two things you creatures long to share the most: Love and pain. And love is dead. So don't run. Don't cause yourself anymore harm than needs to be caused. Resistance isn't futile, it is pointless. Dangerous. Painful.

So, please, don't run. Don't make us chase. If you are scared, it is because you don't understand. If you are angry, it is because you are scared. But neither will make this any easier. Only acceptance can do that. Only us.

Only we can bring back the rain. Only we can bring back the sun and wind and grass. Only we can reunite you with your loved ones. And only you can take those things away.

Please. Don't run. We are tired of chasing. We are tired of punishing. Just lie down. Rest. Accept. Breathe.

Don't run. Don't wake up.

I'm glad to see the site is still pushing ppeppina's song because I *really* have some nice percussion to add to the mix, but trouble trying recording it (mic/studio issues) and need a couple more days (!) I DO want to add tambourines, shaker, sticks and bongos (in addition to some background vocals if I have time). Thanks again guys! :)
