So I like many others am not entirely convinced about the usefulness of follow fridayz for the top brass but I do think it's a good idea for us regular recorders. As I am currently without broadband and have spent the better part of a year only able to access HR through my phone. I am very dependent on my dash. And the people I recommend are ones who both release great records of their own and recommend great records too.
So without further babbling...who am I kidding of course I'm going to babble it's what I do anyway, these are just 3 of the people I recommend you all follow:
Sabine is a massively underrated hit recorder in my book. She does amazing illustrations (just look at her latest illustration for Wings of a Moth) just outstanding work. She also writes such beautiful pieces and some very touching ones too. "Like everyone else" is one my favorite video. It's beautifully touching and personal and it's the kind of thing I love to see.
Diane is one of my absolute most favorite people on the site. As well as being an amazingly talented writer she has learnt to photo shop and created some wonderful pieces for the summer collection. Even though they never made the shop, they were wonderful. She is also such a supportive hit recorder and recommends some wonderful hidden gems and she is just as quick to remix as she is to write her own. Currently doing a tiny story a day challenge (which more people should join in - I did). She is also an amazing collaborator and if I ever need someone to talk to or if I hit a block in my work she'll always offer a helping hand or an idea or two.
Again someone I feel is massively underrated on this site. Zkarlette is a wonderful illustrator who has such a wonderful style and adds a sense of humour to her pieces ("The Daily Grind" is a piece that shows this). She does some wonderful work and again recommends alot of pieces I would miss otherwise.
So these are my follow fridayz recommendations. Maybe you already follow them maybe you don't but these are just 3 of the people i personally enjoy watching and who help me with my hit record experience. As I stated before, as a phone user I pretty much rely on my dash and my dash would not be half as useful or remixable if it were not for these 3 people. Thank you for reading and hope you find this useful.
