Jared I agree I think this was only a starting point. I personally would love to see different takes on the voices. It's always better to have a variety of different voices. So I'm gonna upload this script and maybe some people can do some voiceover work.

Also there are endless amounts of ideas that we could take these characters and this story. Maybe a good place to start would be developing the characters. A background for each of them so they are all unique characters.

I think that this is a project that the whole community could get involved in. Nothing is set in stone at this point. This could be like a weekly thing too. I've often thought it would be cool for Hitrecord to have a weekly webisode. Because deadlines are scary as shit but they also help drive people to get stuff done. So that might be something to think about.

Here's some ideas I have that will help further this project.


-Writers

We need the characters developed.

Scripts, stories or just ideas for more episodes.

-Video editors

We need people to edit together each episode. It doesn't have to be the same editor every time either.

-Voice over artists

So far there are three main characters so they need voices (they don't have to be the voices I did either) Also new characters will most likely be introduced in each episode so there will always be a need for a fresh new voice.

-Musicians

It might be cool to have an established intro and outro song for all of the episodes but who knows. maybe it would be better with a different song for each one. But regardless there will be a need for new music during each episode.



These are just a few ideas I had for people getting involved in this. I toyed with the idea of animating the characters but I finally decided to keep them still because well, they can't move. Haha. But that's not to say that you couldn't put them in a different environment for some of the episodes. Maybe the owner of the house is moving one episode and then we could have them all in a moving truck together or something. Or maybe their owner has a garage sale and sells them and they get separated.

Sorry this is so long but I had a lot of ideas and I know you guys can come up with more too. It might even be a good idea for a separate Taxidermy Collaboration page for each episode or just the taxidermy videos in general. I don't know. What do you think?

I love it! I wouldn't change the voices, yours works too perfectly. I think the regal eagles should make an appearance in the next episode (I imagine them to be like the body builders of the bird group, maybe Sylvester Stallone sounding?)

"What do we doooooo?!?"

This is brilliant! There is so much potential for future episodes!

Comment: Ryan Patrick! This is hilarious! Pretty-much exactly the kind of format I had imagined — thanks for proving this kind of idea can work! (Which isn't to say some other kind of format wouldn't be equally or more effective.) Your voices (I imagine you voiced these characters?) are super-funny. The editing is sharp. I certainly LOL'd a few times throughout.

My only critique MIGHT be the story. I think this is a cool first episode as it sets up that we're in a taxidermist's shop/lair. I like that these guys are discovering their surroundings. But, I also wonder what their next conversation would be? Maybe the ferret (not sure if he's a ferret?) is ALWAYS scared of the owls? Maybe the owls are always the villain? Maybe the fox is always the voice of reason? Maybe not?

I'd love to see more of these. Well done! :D
