First RE RECS in our new site! :)

Hi guys!

These are my recommendations for this week, it’s Sunday July 22, 2012. First, I just want to say thanks to Hitrecord for choosing one of my T Shirt designs and one of my postcards designs for the Summer Collection 2012, thank you so much guys, it makes me happy, and I’ve been smiling all week, so thanks again!

I am recommending 16 records this week, plus 2 Hitrecorders, I hope you enjoy my video and if you want to know why I am recommending all these records, you can see my video or read below my recommendations and ideas for each one of them:

1. Dreaming in Color V.2 by artanon: This is a remix of a remix that I made with 2 fantastic resources of 2 wonderful hitrecorders: Artanon and Cisco, then artanon added some great effects and create this wonderful remix of my remix, and I just love it, the colors in the background blend perfectly with the illustration of the woman, and the effect that he add to the illustrations make it so much better, love this!!!


2. Frosty Windshield by Kristenh79: What a beautiful picture, this is the kind of images that I love is amazing how you can see the reflection of the sky and the house in the water and the leaves floating there, it’s just magical. Great shot!!!!


3. Hitrecord 5.0 (a.k.a Holy crap what Just happened? By Joab Nevo: Zoe is just adorable, she have the same expression that we all had when sing in at Hitrecord days ago and realize that everything was changed, so Joab upload this beautiful picture of Zoe, like asking: What on earth happened here? I love this picture, is just beautiful as much as Zoe is.


4. Hitrecord Ancestry: The wirrow doll, little boy by ClarissaBailey: I can’t explain how much I love this illustration, it’s just fantastic, I wish that more people noticed this and someone feature this illustration, I think is just fantastic, it could be a great resources for remixes or even someone can make a tiny story for this little guy! Great job Clarissa!


5. Hitrecord Giving tree by I Am 1954: This is a great illustration made by Shane, I really think that is beautiful and can be useful for many things, for example I would love to see this animated, or with more colors, the possibilities are endless with this great illustration.


6. ImaBear! By gyllenmaya: This is a super cute illustration, I think that it’s a great addition for the Characters Collab. This is another image that I would love to see animated or with colors, also this is a great resource for remixers for create new images and even for animators, so, what are you waiting guys? Play with this!


7. In her Colors (vector 2) by Toss: This is just fantastic, Toss creates this beautiful illustration, I especially love the colors, I love pink and red and here you can see different kind of shades of these colors, Also, in this case, I would love to see somebody remixing this image or maybe someone can create a story or a tiny story for this.


8. Little Red at 19 by LydiaSaskia: I love Lydia’s characters, in this case she made this illustration of Little Red at the age of 19, I love the rebel style that she gave to this version of the young little red, I would love to see someone making a story for this fantastic illustration.


9. Over the fence, Clouds by cerebis: I love Cerebis time lapses, they are always amazing and beautiful and very creative, in this case this is a time lapse of the sky observed from a fence, I think this is a great resource for video editors and filmmakers, Great job as always.


10. Jelly babies with SFX by megancarnes: This makes me smile!!! Megan did a great job putting all these resources together and adding some SFX, this video was featured days ago and it was much deserved, great job Megan! :)


11. Summer Collection 2012 by Marke: This is the announcement of the summer collection 2012 that Marke uploaded last Friday, I love the summer collection, especially the postcards, and I am so proud to say that I am a part of this, so guys, just go to the Hitrecord store and buy all these great HR designs.


12. This morning 41 by saintmaker: Another great and magical shot taken by my dear saint, believe it or not, and I know that I always say the same thing, but this is one of my favorite so far, I just love the reflect of the sky and the trees in the water, just Amazing!! :)


13. Whale Song by ElisArt: This illustration is breathtaking, I love the white whale that seems like is like flying in the sky, and I love how it makes a beautiful contrast with the sky, the moon and the ocean in the background, I think that this is another image that needs a story, someone?


14. Where is my mind by Hum4Chaos: I love Hum4Chaos style, and this is one of my favorite illustrations at HR right now, I love the colors and the whole concept of this image, and in some way I feel a little identified with this, because I wonder sometimes where is my mind? Lol! Anyway, great illustration, please keep them coming.
