Secrets are necessary

We need Secrets. They are an inherent part of our being. What could happen if we were around telling everyone our deepest secrets and feelings? Pandemonium.

I have secrets, things that I don’t share with anybody, they are not necessary big secrets, but they are mine, probably they are the only thing that I can keep for myself in this world ruled by a society where the #1 sport is criticize others, is good to have one piece of our lives just for ourselves.

I want to think that I am an open book, I am really honest with my friends and family, I know that sometimes you have to be polite, and you have to choose the best way to tell things to others in order to not hurt them.  The thing is that sometimes, in the past, I told some of my secrets to others, and well, they are not secrets anymore, so you learn, that no matter what, nobody is going to keep them for themselves, so the only place where you can keep them is in our hearts and minds.

Secrets could be a dream that we have, or something that scares us, secrets could be regrets, a lost love that still live in our hearts or a desire; secrets could be a memory that we keep for ourselves, also could be a treasure hidden in a box under our bed or that person that you meet a long time ago while you were traveling in a bus in south America.

We need those secrets to keep some magic and mystery in our lives, we can’t tell them because they are of our own, but you know what, because you are my friends and I love you guys, I’ll tell you one of my secrets,
